Many people think “cyber security” is something only big companies or governments need to worry about… but that’s not true. Everyone is at risk since we’re ALL included as individuals in these governments and large companies. Think of it this way… if you vote, use internet at home, have a landline or mobile phone, or register with the DMV to drive your car – you are both at risk as an individual AND a threat to the system if the right Cyber Security measures aren’t in place. This means the safety and risk need to come from both directions, you as an individual, and governments and businesses (of any size) to make sure we are working together – in both directions – to better guarantee network security and protection of our data.
